government
- By 1988, in a complete reversal of attitudes 24 years earlier, 63% of
voters believed that America is run by a government of the few and
for the few. Perhaps fears manufactured by Federal administrations
since were necessary to drive many into the shadow of those they
distrust in order to keep a large part of the population from
