Tri-Valley CAREs, a nuclear watchdog group in Livermore, together with many other organizations organize to make sure our national representatives and the military don't start that program again. They rallied and marched again Sunday, August 8.

Vast majority don't trust the government
By 1988, in a complete reversal of attitudes 24 years earlier, 63% of voters believed that America is run by a government of the few and for the few. Perhaps fears manufactured by Federal administrations since were necessary to drive many into the shadow of those they distrust in order to keep a large part of the population from changing the nature of government.
