Harbor Island Apartment Evictions
Harbor Island Apartments has suddenly evicted all of its tenants, about 400 families. This crisis threatens the safety, security, and livelihood of people who live there. Many don't know what they can do, where they will go. Many have vowed to stand and fight.

NEA honors Rev. Michael Yoshii
The annual conference of the National Education Association held over the week of July 4, 2004, honored Reverend Michael Yoshii of Alameda as a crusader for justice for all people.

Alameda honors Michael Yoshii
The Mayor declared October 16th Michael Yoshii Day. Many other honors were presented to Rev. Yoshii for many years of work for social justice. October 16th a gala dinner honoring his achievements and helped give voice to groups fighting for human rights.
