On Tuesday, October 5, at 7 PM in City Hall,
the City Council will consider a proposal from City Staff and
Planning Board that the Boatworks project be allowed to build
175 housing units at Oak and Clement, extending Blanding Avenue
and Walnut Street through the project, and obliterating Estuary
Park, leaving only a 100 foot wide strip along the waterfront.

notes on the outcome of the Jan 26, 2009 Planning Board meeting
Collins is at it again. He has not given up
the idea of putting high density housing, 242 units, where the
City had planned Estuary Park at Clement and Oak streets.
On Monday, January 26, 2009, the Planning Board
held a public hearing/scoping session to discuss the preparation
of a Draft Environmental Impact Report for the proposed project.
No action was taken at that hearing. If you have any questions,
