Starting the rally

On Thursday, June 30, 2004, San Francisco Internation A.N.S.W.E.R. and fellow organization opposed to war and the expanding, brutal U.S. empire organized a rally in Union Square. At 5 PM, when workers were leaving, the rally began. Speaker after speaker denounced the sham of the turnover of power to Iraq by the U.S., explaining how the war is escalating, not winding down. More importantly, many speakers talked about what is to be done.
